Oklahoma Vascular Access Services are performed by Vascular Access Specialists who provide patient-centric holistic medical care by engaging with patients, addressing their questions and concerns, and conducting thorough medical evaluations. Before performing any Vascular Access procedure, PICCPROS clinicians carefully review the patient’s medical history, including lab results, and independently verify the doctor’s order. If there are any concerns or contraindications that were not noted previously, the clinician consults with the prescribing doctor to ensure the best course of action. Our specialists are trusted by many physicians and are often relied upon for recommendations, with doctors frequently ordering a “consult” rather than specifying a particular line. Prioritizing patient safety and vein preservation, we emphasize comprehensive evaluations and the use of Advanced Lines.
