Midlines are versatile and effective vascular access devices when PIV access is difficult or extended therapy is required. They can be used for either short or longer intervals and can reduce the number of patient sticks when PIVs do not last.

BENEFITS OF OUTSOURCING VASCULAR ACCESS
in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, Oklahoma
Outsourcing vascular access services in and around Oklahoma City and Tulsa to highly trained nurse clinicians significantly benefits healthcare providers and facilities by helping to improve patient outcomes and reduce costs.
Our vascular access experts are singularly focused on vascular access, enabling them to ensure the right line is placed at the right time, the first time. This not only speeds treatment but can also shorten hospital stays and reduce the risk of infection and hospital readmission. In addition to reducing labor costs, outsourcing can lower equipment and supply expenses and management by eliminating the risk of equipment needing repair and maintenance and supplies expiring unused.
Outsourcing is a practical solution for many facilities, including hospitals, even when they have the option to hire in-house staff, as it provides greater flexibility and utilization of other resources. Having the ability – especially in emergent situations – to place small- and large-bore advanced central lines at the patient’s bedside is a tremendous factor in successfully treating patients quickly, eliminating the need for transportation to another facility and the coordination and costs associated with it, and helping improve patient outcomes and satisfaction. As an added benefit, our clients utilize their newly available medical resources to deliver more and higher-impactful healthcare services to their community.
Vascular access is a specialized and invasive procedure that requires advanced skills and ongoing training, making outsourcing a smart choice for many healthcare facilities.
